Don't get me wrong I love nintendo but the advert for the Wii U is terrible, I wan't to see how the controller will effect gameplay and improve upon the Wii's remote, I want to play zelda, not draw pictures of Link. Why would you buy a console on the strenght that you can switch between playing games on the TV to the controller, this offers minor convenience in some situations but is not revolutionary, nor is the game being played on the controller which looks very primitive. These gimmicks apply to the casual gamer market who are now busy playin angry birds on their iphones and ipads. I would have liked Nintendo to make a complete U-Turn and offer something for die hard fans, not new comers. I would hate to see Nintendo die but I am unsure they will be able to repeat the success they had with the Wii.
For the New Super Mario Bros. Mii (WIIU) please put Richter Belmont from Castlevania Symphony of the night in it.
2 words:EPIC.FAIL. 5 years and the best they come up with is an oversized handheld console? Ehh, maybe it will be better than it looks... But if I can't play a game on my huge HD TV, then why should I spend 300 dollars on it? It will take allot to convince me to buy this over the new Microsoft and Sony consoles.
1 Like Funny cause ive mainly been a PC gamer for a while with the usual response its too expensive or PC's are too complicated haha...my keyboard and mouse seems really simple compared to all this new tech in consoles. Still sticking with PC..dont fix what isnt broken
@ShadowofSonic Yeah it was Zelda but it was Twilight Princess for the original Wii, not a new game... I saw somewhere that it was to show you how Zelda would look on the Wii U. Sorry, bit of a bummer eh? The more I see of this Wii U, the more I am not impressed! It just does what an ipad does except the Nintendo games, apart from that... well now I think of it more it actually does less than an ipad! Wow, what a disappointment this announcement is for me! :-(
Don't like the ipad look of the controller. I liked the concept controller look better. But, with what it looks like they are trying to do with it, I understand. As long as it feels like I am using a controller, when playing an FPS, and not an ipad with buttons on the ends, I will be happy.
No wonder some people dont think this is a new system, they're only emphasizing the things you do "with the new controller" not, "with the new system"
