worth $10? i thought ac2 was absolute gold, brotherhood was good (not great), and i am starting 3 now. i'm curious about the ending of ezios story, but honestly brotherhood just fell so short...opinions?

Funny how they always sound like falling bombs when doing leaps of faith. Funny, as in, awkward, by now. That last one in the review, for instance, it just sounds silly, at least when it's not your character diving.

The platforming didn't bother me and I found discovering Desmond's story enjoyable yet the tower defense is terrible. Many of the animations in Revelations are also fairly disappointing for a game that has been around so long. Despite all that I enjoyed it and am awaiting the third

First-person platforming is freaking awesome!!!

I don't agree much with the tower defence. It's not boring. It's OK :)

I don't say this often at all, but by-and-large, this review is pretty spot-on. I didn't like how the game just added more menus a lot of the time and the graphics didn't seem "beautiful" (in fact, the engine is really showing its age) and the "context" of the assassin's creed brotherhood missions just seemed patently unnecessary and there for the sake of adding s***.

Just picked this up at Target brand new for $11.  Should be worth every penny, right?

This game is amazing! The first-person Desmond puzzles are so much fun, they need to keep it in the next!

it plays more like an RPG game than an Action game... terrible. I rather wait for 3rd installment than buy an "add-on"

I dont know if i played the past games to death or not but i just picked this game up and i cant seem to get addicted to it like you normally would in the previous creed games. Its just too similar and story isn't that driving either although atlair parts are intereasting.

It's not that bad as there making it sound, I actually like the tower defense.

Brotherhood was way better ( I give it a 9.7). But this game was too short, so I give it a 9.

I agree with the review as it is a great game(8.5 for me) except I don't think the tower defense or platform wrecked the game as I only did one tower defense game and it wasn't that bad, and the platform only did 2 levels of it(was a little frustrating)and you get a acheivement for finishing them, yeah thats all I did of them in the whole game.If you like the previous games get this and prepare for assassin's creed 3 :)

@Apache-Chief I understand that, it's just a bit weird to go on the top games list and see ac2 higher than revelations when it's apparently a better game. Ideally they should refresh the ratings every couple of years. But obviously that's not gonna happen. Don't really care any more to be honest

@flopje976 @TheHumanBush @Supabul & everyone else: This was an amazing adventure. The tower defense wasn't needed, but it did its bit, in making this game interesting. This game was truly a revelation. The hook-blade is a welcome addition to your already superb arsenal of deadly weapons. The Altair memories were AWESOME!! I cannot stress enough the importance that these fill-in memories of Desmond and Altair carry. Commenting on the story.... *MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD* ....seeing Altair fight the battle against his own people was terrific. I almost cried on seeing Altair flee from Masyaf and dying a very undeserved death, alone in the library, protecting that one piece of magic that destroyed most of his life. Same goes for when Ezio realizes he was merely a stone on the path which was someone Else's to walk, something for which he had dedicated his entire life. The final sequences, right from the deal with Ahmet, to Desmond's escape from scheduled deletion aided by 16, to Ezio's bitter realization, to the revelation of the fate of Those-Who-Came-Before, were very engrossing, registering solid emotions in my heart & mind. *SPOILERS END* Yes the game was small, but w/o it, Assassin's Creed would never be the epic game series it is now. No matter what others think, I'm glad Ubisoft made Brotherhood & Revelations. They were needed to make this game the ultimate story-teller that it is. Well done, Ubisoft, very well done!! Just don't mess up AC3 like PoP: T2T (loved it too).

Supabul
Supabul

Brotherhood and Revelations should of been Assassins Creed 3 Together there about the same size as Assassins Creed 2, Ubisoft splitting the game up for yearly release's Revelations was so short it felted like DLC I hope Assassin Creed 3 features more than one city, Ubisoft need to make it like Assassins Creed 2

TheHumanBush
TheHumanBush

Assassins Creed 1 being the weakest in the series (not a bad game, just the weakest) revelations is definitely the worst of the Ezio trilogy. Ezio just isn't interesting in this game, and the most enjoyable parts of the game were playing as Altair and watching him grow. In AC2 you watched Ezio grow from a boy to a man, and change and develop. In ACB you saw him start to cope with old age. In this game, there is nothing interesting about him. He should've had trouble climbing in some cutscenes, and emphasized his old age, but no, nothing, he is as fast as when he was 20. Ubisoft needs to slow down and take their time with AC3, they are ruining the series for me right now and it really saddens me. Unfortunatly, my pleading is for nothing, Ubisoft already announced that AC3 is coming next year. It really breaks my heart.

GamerLegend10
GamerLegend10

I have yet to buy this or brotherhood, somehow they dont interest me as much as A1 and AC2...i think i will wait until AC3 comes out and then buy all three: AC:B, AC:R & AC3 and play them 1 after the other.

RESIDENTEVIL_VI

hmmm..wat can i say ??? i hope ubisoft will slow down and learn from her lesson....and its agood game though but they didnt give it much time i ended the campaign so quicklt wth...is that and they focus on the multiplayer ......its not call of duty ubisoft the storymode is the main thing in this game i hope they will cancel the mulyiplayer in the or at least focus on the storymode more and give it much time like batman no multiplayer and awesome combat and story mode....just copmare guys between then in 2009 ac was better than batman and now ..wat can i really say??

@zephonwing It's not that hard to understand. Assassin's Creed II was the start of Ezio's story, Brotherhood and Revelations where continuing his story. Assassin's Creed III will star a new protagonist.

zephonwing
zephonwing

so... Botherhood isn't AC3, it's just a expansion for AC2? and Revelations isn't AC3, it's also an expansion for Brotherhood? So when do we get AC3? Wasn't it supposed to be a trilogy? I'm confused... I'm not buying anymore AC games I'll wait for the full 'collection" ... jesus...
