I'm getting this game, it looks pretty fun... but am I the only person who is getting tired of cheating becoming a normal part of gaming lately? What I mean by that is like the "detective mode" here where you can see through walls. That just makes games too damn easy.
You get the same thing in Hitman Absolution with instinct mode, and plenty of other games made in the last few years. There are also a lot of games where you temporarily slow down time too. Absolution is one of those with the point-shooting mode. I think Fallout 3's VATS started that trend.
Anyway, before anybody bitches at me, yes I know you don't have to use these features and I rarely do but it just feels like the difficulty of too many recent games is watered down so that casuals don't feel overwhelmed... and it bugs me.
