The last Claptrap

I heard talk of Claptrap being the last. Is this true or have I misheard?
Such as shame as I always liked helping Claptrap's in the previous Borderlands.
I guess mowing them down in the Claptrap Revolution didn't help their numbers either.

Not sure how accruate this is but I have just read an article today. It doesn't confirm Claptrap is the last but it doesn't look good for our fuzzy little friend's numbers either.
It stated that Handsom Jack ordered Claptraps be destroyed after their revolution.
As said above, their numbers arn't looking to promising. How sad.
Lets hope he was unsucessfull.
