If you used more than one bullet, you weren't using a Jakobs. The one gun all my characters have is a Jakobs revolver.

Has anyone else picked up the Love Thumper shield? You get it from the Best Mother's Day Ever quest. It says the recharge delay is 212.80 seconds. Most I have seen before this is about 6.5 second delay. Can this be right? It is worth quite a bit, though. With this game and it's quirkiness and humor, and awesomeness I would not doubt it but it seems like if it's not a glitch then maybe it's a mistake on the devs part, absolutely forgiven either way. I think Gearbox gets a couple of hundered hall passes, not just for how awesome this game is, but also because they are Gearbox.

I almost forgot the name of the shield is the Love Thumper.

Well, I tested the shield, and it does have a 212 second delay before recharge. I guess it's not a bad thing to have something like that in your game, I mean it gives us more challenge if we so choose on the next go-round.

@tightwad34 Some perks give you bonuses while your shields are depleted, so *maybe* if you spec your character right it could be advantageous

Does anyone actually use Hyperion guns as a primary? That accuracy improves with each shot is an annoying attribute.

Maliwan is wicked. I've got two pistols and an SWS that are awesome. One is a flame pistol, then an acid pistol, and an acid SWS. I have yet to find an enemy that resists acid, it sure destroys spider ants in no time flat.

My favorite gun? God, it really deserves a place in this video if you guys had it yourselves. It's a shotgun made by Tediore. When you reload, instead of simply throwing it, the shotgun slowly flies through the air and homes in on targets. If there are shots left in the clip, IT SHOOTS AT THEM AS IT FLIES TOWARD THEM. And if it kills an enemy with one of those shots while it's flying toward them, it'll change targets and home in on another enemy. It is, by far, my favorite weapon in the game.

Got it as a drop for killing Tumbaa in the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve. Far as I can tell it won't drop every time, but there's at least a chance for it to, and after looking it up online, it appears other players have gotten it from Tumbaa as well, so my guess is it's a legendary drop unique to him.

@ThePowerOfHAT @Bulzeeb3088 Yeah I got it from Tumbaa as well its the only other orange gun I've found, the other was a pistol called thunderball fists every shot exploded with a bouncing thunderball probably the only shock weapon that wasn't underpowered

Is it just me or are the goliaths hilarious once you shoot their heads off and they go berserk? I laugh everytime they go nuts.

@tightwad34 I love them! I like leading them from enemy group to enemy group, letting them wreak havoc and level up. I did this once to a Caustic Goliath, and he turning into this hulking beast that spewed acid out of his neck hole. GROSSSS and also hilarious.

I haven't ran into a caustic goliath that I know of. What you described sounds awesome. I finally found a slag weapon after at least 20 hours of playing the game. Sometimes it sucks when you make a goliath go nuts and they are around a bunch of enemies and they just gun him down. It really sucks after your goliath has already leveled up a couple of times.

Yeah, I try to treat him like a teammate too. Sometimes there are too many enemies and you get a bit distraced and the Goliath is going nuts in the meantime with too many enemies for him to handle. It is just a part of the game, though. I know it's a bit soon, but I am really eager to see what they will have in store for Borderlands 3. Gearbox's status has gone way up in my eyes.

@tightwad34 I find if I'm trying to fully level a Goliath, I still have to fight enemies and almost treat him like a teammate. A teammate that will turn on me in a blind homicidal rage at any moment.

Torgue guns are 100% worthless. The bullets move sooooo slowly and their damage really isn't anything special. I can put down enemies much quicker with a Jacobs or Maliwan, or any of the other types as well.

@Master_ShakeXXX come come now, Torgue guns are the first ones you get that are actually useful. The bonus explosive damage is good on AR's and pistols for close range engagements.

@Master_ShakeXXX Like with many some gun types are better then others with some brands.

Best weapon types for torgue are shotguns and rocket lanchers. i have a 230K torgue rocket launcher and no other brand seems to outdo it.

@Master_ShakeXXX they have their uses when they are a large group sticking together the explosive rounds can quickly lower their hp as a group

Actualy, clip music is suitable for such an insane game :) Regarding guns - I like such variety in Borderlands. Guns look not very realistic, but according games idea and graphics they, actually, suits the content :)

Maliwan and Tediore get the job done. E-techs are usually overrated.

@PDXmauler97 I don't know about you but the guns are awesome. I have an e tech shotgun that fires huge balls of electricity. And with my E tech smg and rifle I finished the first playtrough using only the 2 e tech guns . So from lvl 10 to lvl 36 I used only the 2 e tech guns.

simple well made play to game the fun with good interaction.

Virtual,an update in shooter must be apply for like doom 1,2 series of the nightmare levels.

Have you ever had a badass psyco in this game throw a midget at you? It happend to me, and apparently the midgets are made of steel or something cause it put me in last stand faster than I could say wtf.

I do not really have a manufacturer preference. Currently my sniper is a Jakobs, assult rifle is a Tediore, smg is Maliwan, and my pistol is Dahl. I do not discriminate.
