Not Midgets....Little People... Where Little People Can Appear To Look like Midgets, but in fact are littler then a avg person because of miniature size to appear as a midget.
@jthotty How is it that words become offensive over time. It seems we have to learn a new word to call everyone every 5 years or so. Now I most definitely do not condone offensive petty, words that hurt others feelings, it is just who decides that they are suddenly offensive and why? A word is just a word. In 5 years the term 'little people', as you say, will become offensive as well and the new politically correct definition will be 'less than not tall.' :/

1 Like I'm definitely not going to pre-purchase BL2. I remember all the hype around BL1 and how i was excited to finaly get it in my hands. First they screwed EU customers for decent period of time when releasing the game. Also, console oriented DLC which didn't support fast-travel and console-style menus were just another slap in the face for PC gamers. Stupid GameSpy ID and endless connection bugs was just a cherry at the top. Not going to start on glitched missions due pour co-op coding and support. Either do the game right, or don't release it on certain platforms. I'm tired of half-products which are just milking money from customers. From my pre-purchase experience with BL1 i'm never gonna trust Gearbox with another pre-purchase. I'm waiting for decent reviews first!

3 Like Borderlands is one of the most enjoyable games I have played. Solid FPS gameplay, satisfying RPG elements, decent humour, loved the art style.
Borderlands 2 looks to improve on basically everything, without changing anything too much.
Sign me up.
Dude, Bordelands is AWESOOOOME!, like a great co-op game, in same time, great rpg and fps, 2k and Gearbox deserve "Sweet company Award"

Looks way better than the first which I couldn't get into, unfortunatly theres too much other stuff comming out at that time (film/tv/music) wise which i've been waiting a whole lot longer for (and will enjoy more too).

2 Like first off i hate those fU#kin IE commercials..... anyways I really hope this is awesome I played borderlands right after a couple hundred hours in fallout 3, and my first impression was wow this game looks like shit and I kept trying to compare it to fo3 because they were both open world style games.... Then I realized that obivioulsy they were nothing alike and borderlands was very awesome in its own light, even the art style grew on me. my fiancee and I played through the entire game together and it still remains on of my favorite games of all time. so here's hoping gearbox.
btw gotta play as the siren....lilith....phasewalk... nuf said, hope maya is just as awesome.

Choosing a class might be a tough one, though. For me it's between Slavador and Zer0. I'm thinking Zer0 now, but it's going back and forth.

1 Like @ZoMiBaRu It is true that his turret (at least in the first game) could wipe out a bandit camp before you get to shoot, but I just feel like he's a bit of a generic character. He's great, but I just think the other characters are more unique and fun.
2 Like Hehe, I remember when the first Borderlands came out and the rage about the cellshading was pretty huge. Then people realized it was a great game and didn't care about the change in graphics style anymore. And now here's N° 2 and it looks like its gonna be even bigger and better. Just needs more midgets I think. And on a sidenote : anyone noticed the Night Elf with safety helmet in the background :p
@Ravenlock_2112 yeah i hated the graphics but it did grow on me after awhile and i stopped noticing:D

This is probably the best cell shading I've ever seen. It still looks damn ugly though!
@shanethewolf It actually looks awesome once you start playing. The darkness 2 looked awesome too though it was also cel-shaded. The art style is what makes the borderlands series stand out against many other games with their comical character designs and cel-shaded graphics.

@GamerOuTLaWz @ZoMiBaRu I agree, Call of Duty does not Compare to Battlefield 3, and it has become an annual game like sports games, but it's fun to have a couple friends over and run and gun each other. You literally can't go and do that in BF3. Damnit, now I really want to play some battlefield...
@Codester_41 Cod had its ups. But repetition and battlefield took over. Its not a looser franchise, it turned into a spray and pray, no skill franchise. Play Bf3, you'll see.
