Why are you people keep dissing the game have you played it ?? probably not so please some people go for the singleplayer experience and could care less multi player, if you want multi player go buy or rent COD or battlefield/ MOH but this looks like just plain fun kill as many dudes as you can with the highest score like the demo some guys score 24k while me only 12k so what do they do better and can I improve myself thats what this game makes for a lot of fun

With Bulletstorm finished, GameSpot UK's Guy Cocker catches up with Epic's Cliff Bleszinski for a development postmortem.
There's no competitive multiplayer for the fact that Epic felt adding in competitive multiplayer as a tack on (because it's what every FPS game does these days) would mean they'd of had to change core qualities of the gameplay mechanics. The co-op mode is similar to Horde mode from Gears and Firefight from Halo:Reach - you work cooperatively each round to get the highest score possible. Cliff also said while it's fun to be the guy leashing his real opponents, it's not fun to be the guy who's constantly being leashed, and it took the fun away, so this was ultimately how they couldn't see having competitive multiplayer as an option.
I dont know... I think I need to get rid of my pre-order... Was excited for this but some people did bring up some good points, its more of a novelty effect and theres no co-op or competitive multiplayer mode. Plus I have another 5 games coming up through now to the end of march, and its not to say this will be good or wont be, ive just lost my confidence in how amazing this is supposed to be. If I see some good reviews I might pick it up again, its only stupid bonuses for the limited edition anyways which im sure will be available anyway. Heres to hoping this will be good!
This game has NO competative multiplayer and NO campaign co-op!... i just lost interest. Can't believe they've not implemented those!... i naturally assumed they'd be there and had every intension of picking this game up day one along with some friends... looks like i'll have to break the bad news to them... this games sales will be hurt when the reviews come out and everybody realises.
Wow...the poor dude is named "Guy Cocker"? If my parents named me that I'd kill them then my-self....ouch...LoL. Looks like an Awesome game though.
Post-mortem? Did the game die? WTF with the title... follow up, post release... to me at least post mortem makes no sense, death of a game is when noone lese plays it, not the release date :P
"If you say a game will be done when it's done, then you don't know what kind of game you're really making." - Cliff B Loved that swipe at Blizzard. Not that I have that much against Blizzard...just thought he made an interesting point.
waiting to see more about this game to convince me.....cuz right now i would prefer to buy killzone 3. for now i just have money to buy one game haha....but bulletstorm is a good example of innovation not only to the FPS games but to the industry itself i think
@metalkid9, That's why it's being produced by EPIC games ;) And by the away, it did remind me of serious sam, but it's like, more action packed, versatile and better graphics serious sam
