Castle Crashers did everything right. Music in this game is original and greatly adds to the mood of the game. All of the art and graphics in this game are very cartoony but also well-made. The plot of this game is that four princesses and a giant magic crystal have been stolen by the henchmen of an evil wizard from your king and you must save them from his clutches. Along the way you will encounter ninjas, robots, monsters, demons, wizards, warriors, highly evolved animals and most notably: the bosses which are highly detailed and have epic fights with you. There are also arenas filled with enemies for you to conquer and shops with items of interest throughout the animated map you use for navigation. This is an RPG so there will tons of gold, weapons, and items for you to pick up. You can also find pets along the way which each have their own special abilities to help aid you. Each class of warrior has their own special abilities which define them. Some can summon swarms of bees to attack their opponents while others can raise the hands of skeletons from the ground to scratch and claw at them. Also, the humor employed in this game is funny though there's no dialogue and the minigames in multiplayer mode are also engaging and diverse ranging from volleyball to shooting each other with flaming arrows.
Game-play within this game can be very hellish in a positive way with basic moves that are learned as you level up and magic you learn as you become more skilled in the field of magic pawnage. The main story of this game has an average level of difficulty to beat but if you want to beat this game on insane mode then you'll get your balls rocked. Difficulty in this game doesn't increase when you have more than one player on your side helping you so in order to beat insane mode you'll have to find 3 REALLY REALLY SKILLED players online to destroy the final boss battle of epycness. The best part about this game is probably the ending and anyone whose beaten this game knows what I refer to so the ending makes all of this game worth beating I promise. This game has everything you need in order to have an A-class game and deserves to be known as the epic it is.
