I'm more of interested in rpgs games and not so interested in puzzles.
I kind of only want to play to learn about the stories and life lessons that vincent goes through but the puzzle/blocks don't really catch my eye. It seems like one of those tasks where I'm forced to play through to see the next cut scene.
I don't know if this game it worth it for $30, any pros/cons with buying it?

I love turn-based RPGs. I bought it twice, once for $90 when I pre-ordered the Japanese version and once for $60 when it came out in English. It's worth it.

After getting this game, I wish I had gotten Disgaea 4 instead. This game is more of a puzzle game than an RPG and once you finish it; all you're left with is a puzzle game.

It looks extremely bizarre and freaky. I'm getting it!It is bizarre. In a very good way, though. The best example is the boss of the Clock Tower. I couldn't stop laughing when it appeared. It's by far the most creepy and disturbing of all of the bosses, but it's also utterly ridiculous.

The story itself is worth the money. 30 dollars sounds cheap to me. But its still 35 pounds here in UK. Im gonna hope it will drop another 10 pounds but it only came out not long ago in the europe/.

it is highly worth it i bough the standard edition at launch and a few months back i bought love is lost edition and resold the standard edition and now i sleep on my catherine pillow ever night.
the story is A+ as i expect of atlus and the gameplay is not too simple that makes it boring.

even though its a puzzle game, the gameplay is surprisingly deep, and dificult even on easy mode, the way the puzzles mix with the story is intense and interesting, the game is way fun, and hilarious!
my first playthrough landed me the normal catherine ending, i started distrusting katherine more as the game passed.
