This looks the badass! can't believe i've never played a Crysis game before, this looks like a great one to start on though :D Seeing all the jungle flora, imagine if they could've made the Avatar game look and feel like this with a more open-world aspect like in Far Cry...
2 Like Stealth approach was more like armour approach just with a bit of camo thrown in,he didn't exactly go in all Sam fisher like.Either way I'm up for this game big time, always like crysis
One thing would re-ignite my hype for the Crysis series: CO-OP.. If I could coordinate stealthing/ tanking with a friend, I would be psyched to play this. As it is, I'm still interested in it, but I probably won't get it for a long time since it won't be available on steam (and origin just doesn't put on amazing sales like steam does)..
Remember guys a few years ago..He stated hell never go full max out on graphics any more..Said to many people own older cards..Its a shame but thats what it is..Hes kind of right in that aspect..How ever like the crysis series so ill continue to play this an farcry 3..Right now im enjoying max payne 3 also..Great game good story if any of you guys pick this up..
1 Like I agree with most peeps on here. Game looks pretty amazing. I really liked Crysis 2 but never played part 1. IMO though the multiplayer could use alot more work. The servers were horrible and even though I pay extra $ for a higher internet connection through my provider, I would still experience numerous lags and glithces constantly. Clean up the multiplayer and this game is near perfect. The Bow is a bad ass addition too!!! Better then your typical "gun with a silencer." Definite pre-order and buy!!!
This is just insanely good looking and at the same time "feels good"...you can just feel how the weapons and gameplay is solid and satisfying. This stuff with storytelling as good as that of Mass Effect would be my dream come true in gaming. I really wish Crytek would dedicate as much resources as BioWare when it comes to writing and storytelling...Crytek would take the gaming world by storm should it do that, and the next step would be taking all that to an MMO!

2 Like @SrebX The problem is with the naming. Although I agree with you, Crysis2 is a great game but why release a game with the same engine and materials as Crysis2 but with few additions here and there and call it Crysis3?
This is Clearly a sequel and should be named something like "Crysis2 The Return of Prophet" or "The Epic Bow!"

Never played this series. But is it just me or does this guy seems to take alot of damage without dying?
@Tygravius lol well if you're not trolling, "this guy" is outfitted with a ridiculously powerful nanosuit that enables things like increased damage resistance and healing.
I don't get it tho, if this is a prequel how did NY lose all the Jungle crap before Crysis 2? I mean that shit just don't melt away. And shouldn't the city be frozen because that's what the Aliens do, they freeze planets not Turn them into Jungles.

1 Like Oh, they changed voice actor for Psycho. This game cannot get anymore cheap. I bet the original actor was too expensive, so they bought on of the cheap Modern Warfare ones.
i like what i am seeing,this is like a really upgraded version of crysis 1,this is what part 2 should have bin,like i said i really like what i am seeing.
As cool as this looks its still a bit lame to see enemies going full auto shooting face to face on the player without the armor on and the player responding with a onehitkill from the bow to the stomach. Gimme hardcore mode. Total stealth and very little survivability. Stealth isn't fun if the penalty to being spotted isn't big.

Sure, all dependent on player skill. Since the guy in the demo was moving at a quick pace, I doubt he was being as careful as he could have.

@hamidman This just in from Wikipedia: While suppressors are also referred to as "silencers", the latter is misleading because no firearm can be made completely silent, as the term "silencer" implies.
Functionally, a suppressor is meant to diminish the report of a discharged round, or make its sound unrecognizable. Other sounds emanating from the weapon remain unchanged. Even subsonic bullets make distinct sounds by their passage through the air and striking targets, and supersonic bullets produce a small sonic boom, resulting in a "ballistic crack".
Semi- and fully automatic firearms also make distinct noises as their actions cycle, ejecting the fired cartridge case and loading a new round. Despite being misleading, the term "silencer" is still widespread.

1 Like @hamidman First of all the bow is more awesome(and unique) and that's what really do the trick for a videogame. Also, it's a super advanced compound bow, I mean, why not? The accuracy is perfect, it is silent, plus there is a variety of arrows. In my opinion, the did well choosing a bow over (another)gun.
1 Like Beautiful game. I just think they need to work on the AI a bit. I think that's what Crysis 2 struggled with as well. Definitely underrated game tho.
1 Like This game is too Underrated IMO, No one gave it Credit that its the Best Looking shooter on consoles, Even better then the Frostbite engine 2. Cryengine 3 is Great!
They only put it on the box. When it comes to shooters, No one mentions Crysis. Its all Cod or BF. Crysis is Unique,

1 Like Graphics looks nice and weapons choice seems very interesting specially the Bow !! But I think that the stealth option that I saw in the demo wasn't stealthy enough to my taste...
1 Like @Eric_PIt wasn't really stealthy due to playing style, not the mechanics. The guy who played didn't seem to care much about stealth.
