Great stuff with the loot and dynamic game play.
Question though: Any online features to this? Multiplayer or Coop playthroughs? Otherwise, wot's the point in the customization feature, and differentiating ur toon from others'?
3 Like Lots of different loots, armor and skills is what I'm talking about. As long as it's an explore, do what I wanna do game with side quests, I'll put this on pre-order next week.

Looks fun to play and all, but the possessed weapons are all I see that stand out. In one part he looked like he used a devil bringer like move like from DMC4, the fighting mechanics are a lot like GOW, The loot makes me think of WOW, and the traits are like dante's inferno, I like how it's a mix and not all one game, but i think they should look into getting more originality into the game, more that stands out.
@saintsrowpimp The game makes me think of orgasm. I dont care much about your comparisons. You brush your teeth in the morning. Does that mean you're mimicking others? Games are bound to have similarities.
After everything I've seen about this game I think there is no question for me this game is going to be nothing short of incredible. The possessed weapons sound like they will be pretty amazing as you can lvl them up that's pretty awesome. If the next installments look as good as this or better I can see this series being around for quite awhile which in my opinion would be a great thing.

1 Like I dint really think the first one was super great...but this, I think this one is gonna be a homerun. I will buy on release I think.
I like many of the things in this game, but adding tons of loot is a major turnoff for me. I just find it tedious more than fun to manage that stuff. I prefer the Zelda style where there are twenty or so gadgets with unique abilities.
@Sushiglutton I think there going to handle the loot system a bit better in this game, I hope its better than Kingdom of Amalur damn all that loot was pointless
Its not War. I read in a gameinformer magazine that guy is the Crowfather. Hes mad at Death so he makes himself look like war and they fight. I think he is the first boss of the game.
@k0k066 Yes but I think that that isn't really War. Watch Darksiders II Comic-Con 2012 Stage Demo or Darksiders II Booth Tour - Comic-Con 2012 there the battle is shown.
@bigbigpiggyboy there was a scene in this video where I saw death attacking war, so maybe....or maybe it was just an apparition of him. Though since it takes place around the same time as war's journey, I would doubt it unless there are flashbacks.
I've followed this series since the original's inception... and the art style has just become breathtaking. I love how Mad and the rest of the team have truly made this game in their own, and are expanding upon it what couldn't be achieved in the first. I love the new elements they have added, especially since the loot is actually badass loot.
Know how everyone feels about Diablo loot? Well that's how I feel about this game's. Let the Darksiders ride!
