Check out the first trailer for Deadpool.
Im getting this game just because of the trailer! U know a game is great if a trailer makes u decide to get it!
@Xentarim Well yeah, that's the only minor thing that's a bit of a downer. But considering it's Nolan North and he voiced Deadpool's animated character before. I'd much rather hear him doing something that's along the ape-shit crazy range and nailing that aspect than trying to hard to get the gravelly sound down and missing the whole DP vibe, lol.
I feel like Marvel vs Capcom 3 made Deadpool worth talking about. His popularity rose at almost a gross pace. It's so hard not to like him. I do worry about this game being a cash in on his popularity rather than ya know like a really well thought out experience. Of course the jokes will be there but will he be too aware like he seems in this trailer. I mean I get the ad but it's kinda weird, ya know? It's like I don't know how you tell a story with him like that. Unless the villain is just as aware are he is... which would be awesome.
@FusionRain I gotta agree with this. How can you not like it when you hit the taunt button and he goes "TAUNT BUTTON!!".. lol... I loved that.
Deadpool is insane because he knows he's in a comic book. Thats the strange thing about him. his insanity is our reality. All the other characters around him "play it straight" as the saying goes. Deadpool is the only one who is aware of the 4th wall and breaks it... alot.
that makes him insane in the comic book universe.
oh and hes a schizophrenic.
@el3m2tigre Rocksteady's owned by Warner Brothers, who owns DC Comics... Would've been nice of course, but I don't expect them to make a Marvel game. Ever.
Can't really tell if it's going to be any good or not, but I'm super glad he finally gets something other than a supporting character spot!
