Yeah, more social farming is defenitely what Gamespot's journalism needed. I feel so involved and everyboy knows the dribble in the comment sections is the best content anyway.

Quoted for Truth--weekly video game news show! Topics: Diablo franchise, PS3 artsy gamers, Xbox subscriptions, and more.
Good enough show ... a little too contrived and scripted for my liking though; and having listened to the free flowing, relatively unrestricted banter of the HotSpot for the past 3 years, this certainly does NOT come even close to replacing it. A little too much crammed into too little time with no 'story' really being explored properly. Brendan and Tom are awesome as ever but do they REALLY believe what they're contending? (Tom M pro console contracts ... wtf?!)
Enjoyed it though ...
I would like to voice a vote for audio version as well. It seems every time I turn around lately an audio podcast is seeing the guillotine in favor of a video show. I understand the excitement to put out more video content, but I do not see the reasons to leave the audio...silently out in the cold.
Liked the show. I think an audio only version would be great... I ended up just playing the audio in the background anyway. I work while I listen so I can't focus attention on a video.
I wanted an Objective Analytical discussion. This video was not that, it was just pandering to the popular opinion without discussing any controversial or even complicated. But this show is disappointing
If squareenix was making the ff7 remake and they made a game for FB that was engaging and provided even the most mundane item possible that i could just transfer to the game from FB then they could
I like the show, good crowd. One thing: the "debate club" format isn't really doing it for me. I also wouldn't mind if the show was a little longer. Can we get an audio version of this? An RSS feed I can drop into Winamp? Would really appreciate it. In fact (kinda off topic), I don't see why this couldn't work as a regular podcast. 1UP has 3 (three) podcasts, all worth listening to. Would watch again.
I still liked the Hotspot better, but this was alright.
I'm not a fan of the use of foul language... Why can't you just do without it? The same went for the HotSpot... It's just unnecessary and alienates users, especially those with children around them.I do like shows with a longer format (~an hour), but it's nice to have a show where editors can share their opinions. I especially like the inclusion of user opinions from Twitter.
Still, I'd prefer you refrain from using foul language, or at least take the trouble to censor it in post-production.
Great show but I think more comments from the community should be shared and discussed. Use a model kind of how the Giant Bombcast does emails where users state a opinion/question and have the hosts discuss them while adding their own input. Do two or three of them per topic and it would cover a lot of different perspectives.
Facebook games and F2P are money sinks. :(Althoe i am going to keep an eye on that FPS Mech game: HAWKEN!... if i got the name right; i just look it up on youtube.Interesting show, and it blew out 24 mintues till D3!?That Racoon City got me, but i was trusting Capcom to deliver a good game i could play till D3... I returned it within 2 days(as well as others) for credit towards my D3. Likely not buying RE6 no any Capcom game ever so i help hurt their pockets.. VICTORY IS MINE!!I really dislike when ppl say things along the lines of:" defending companys money gain tactics" and "the disrespect or care for the gamers in regards to many things outside of just making money from them", not only are these their customers but these games should always be made for the fun and entertainment for them; not for filling their pockets with. Too many companys are tossing out garbage and making more money spent on them then they are actualy worth.. using cheap tactics to make the game appealing.
Im trying to say that it NEVER should be about the money first, it should always be about bringing a fantasy dream world to life and presenting to others to enjoy, and making sure that its nothling less then giving it your best to present it.
Its like comparing Final Fantasy 7 to Blue Dragon(i never played cause it was garbage) FF7 Clearly earned all the money it ever earned.
@Master_Vexov You do know that ORC was outsourced to a Western developer right? Capcom themselves are developing RE6 and had little to do with the development of ORC apart from funding them.
about 10:40 ... WTF Tom ?! we should pay MORE for games ? Did you not see that 90% of games are SHIT games but at full price of AAA games titles ?
because people like you EA gets away wit it !
