I just caught the E3 trailer for this and my word it looks amazing. Im really thinking I might have to wait on AC3 and pick this up instead. Waiting to see a little more actual gameplay footage, but I must say I find myself more excited over Dishonored than AC...

To be fair, Dishonored comes out the 9th, and AC3 comes out 3 weeks later, on Halloween.

Well TC, I would suggest getting Dishonored. It seems really fresh and new. I'm actually cancelling my AC3 pre-order to get this game.

This. A healthy mix of DX, Thief, AND a steampunk setting? Yes! As much as AC3 looks fun, this game will be such a sleeper hit. Hell, I won't be surprised if it doesn't do well because of the current gen of gamers. And how much they like their hands held when it comes to playing a video game.

Definitely play it! Super cheap on steam, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing it!

You're posting on the Dishonored board. What answer did you expect? Get AC3. NO I AM NO BIASED. Ok that's a lie, but whatever.

AC3 looks like AC2 with slight innovations. I'm quite sure it'll be great but it will likely be more of the same. It does look like it's doing enough to feel somewhat fresh though, unlike Brohood and Revelations. The AC series as a whole has had less of a focus on stealth and more on open world exploration and action. Combat will likely be a boring and easy counterfest like the previous games.

DIshonored reminds me of Deus Ex quite a lot, with the amount of ways to complete missions, the stricly first person gameplay and the different playstyles. It looks like a much more unique experience, blending classic Thief/DE style stealth gameplay with interesting magic mechanics. While it lacks the open world aspect that the former has, the level design, from what I've seen, is MUCH more detailed and cool. Combat will hopefully be fun and challenging, and I feel that it will judging Arkane Studio's history with first person combat, like Dark Messiah: Might and Magic.

I'm getting them both but I'm hyped for Dishonored more than AC3.

We still got about 3 months till both of their releases. Just save up some money for both of them.

In my opinion, go with this. It looks amazing - hitman with supernatural powers? Pretty cool. We're seeing some creative use of magical powers.

Personally, I am going to buy this and then Hitman after it. AC? Uh, when it drops price. Have you seen how ridiculous it is getting? Main character just leans on a bench dressed in a completely ridiculous outfit and suddenly the guards chasing him lose him. Come on!

For the assassin fix, imo, Dishonoured and Hitman all the way..

I'm getting both because it was too hard to choose. I'm sure both will be amazing. If you absolutely have to make a choice, I would say get Dishonored, but you should definitely eventually get both.

This of course, but there lots of other games too. anyway, i dont see why anyone would even get AC anymore, the only point for it is for the story, but they lost me at brotherhood, milking all they could with ezio
