This game is pretty good, but some things caught my attention. When you have low hp your hero begins to walks slowly and look injured, some may even lose body parts! But wait, there's more, your hero everytime will say something regarding his surroudings and certain items. That's smart; and the game has many cool features that customize.
This beign said, full version of the game will pwn other multiplayer games.
i played DOTA and i "WAS" pro (now i'm not,didn't played it for one or two years omg).I can't wait this to be released. :D
2 Like @BULLSEYEGUNMAN Alienware is overpriced junk and has been ever since Dell took it over. Build your own machine or find a friend that can, you'll save a huge amount of money.
@BULLSEYEGUNMAN Dont waste your money on a Alienware learn how to build your own and save a lot of money. Try watching Newegg on youtube. Then to make it easier buy one of their DIY kits.
@Molten14 U know im actually considering that. But alienware computers r not cheap. I think it might be worth it in the long run though since u guys get so many awsome games. idk im still looking in to it though. 360 actually is some crap to be honest. All we have is halo and gears of war lol

u damn pc players get way more games then us 360 players which is so not fair. And most of them are better then ours. Makes me sick.
oh wow, i feel sad. I've never played DOTA in my life, heck, I've barely seen any footage of it yet i know exactly what it is. But there are people calling DOTA copy of LOL or HON... wow (and i dont mean world of warcraft)
taidalwave ... I am dead sure. I am playing it currently!! every week there are 10 heroes free to play!! I mean u don't even need to buy them for battle points!! this is for new comers so they dont have to spend cash at all!! once you start playing the game!! all you got to do is win and level up!! it will give you XP and battle points!! with battle points you can purchase heroes!! Consider it just like level unlocks with you having the choice of what to unlock!! many good heroes can be unlocked at 450 battle points that is like winning 2 or 3 games!!
@jasonzilla11 since the DOTA is played on WC-Frozen throne ( until now) which is a Blizzard's game.
@ daftpunk7 lols a real newbie. DOTA has been running for more than 5 years now yet you still dont know? @sssephiroth you are very wrong. going to battle, killing as many as you can while escaping death needs proper thinking and fast reflexes.
@Torrok01 Oh my! Controlling ONE unit is what you call planning and thinking? As far as i'm concerned, dota has ruined wc3 online play. Now wc3 required planning and thinking. Is it any wonder dota is dominated by 13 year old kids in internet cafes? it's coz it requires 10 hours a day to actually get really good at it. oh, and lastly, i don't play cod.
@LazyGamerX Dota was created before LoL and LoL was inspired by Dota. You can figure out the rest yourself.

@sssephiroth It sounds like you got schooled one too many times and found an excuse as to why you suck at action strategy games. What do you consider a "real game"? Just because you can mindlessly run around playing Call of Duty 4 pointing and clicking doesnt mean you have a "talent." Planning and thinking is not for everyone I guess...
@daftpunk7... DOTA is an eight year old game which is inexplicably still popular among folk who find real games a bit too difficult. It requires practice more than talent to succeed at it really.
What does a hero need? Well, it depends, is he warding the woods, roaming, soloing mid or farming to carry?

what i find cool about dota 2 is that its going to attract a lot of old dota players but also that there is enough people who don't know about this game that will be willing to try it. This game is going to have a very diverse community with many different kind of players.
are they gonna bring back every hero ? i wish they take out some of the new dota heros and change them because they dont feel as good as the original heros
@kenshingr The thing is that even noobs think themselfs as heros and all others as noobs. Period

@cgmann16 The original developer of Defense of the Ancients is working with Valve, they hired him to lead the Dota 2 development. So how the hell are they "stealing" form him? Blizzard completely dropped support for Warcraft, which was the only way to play Dota. So the developer and Valve are breathing life into it by giving it a new player base. And why shouldn't they make players pay for the game? If Valve wasn't involved, surely the Dota developer wouldn't make Dota 2 free if he could make money off it.
