One hell of a blast while it lasts. The gameplay was some surprisingly deep elements and alot of individualized moves. The story captures the personalities of the characters effectively, and centers the action around goku. its somewhat of like a boardgame when u move around but when u get used to it its not too bad and kinda fun. The battles are mainly what keep the game goings and the little pre fight sequences. Some cinematics would be nice, or a bit more story to kill the repetiveness but its all done in style. Super saiyans are kinda useless though, because ur ki will drain very fast and u cant do much at all without ki. And almost all attacks are blockable. Just a couple of little problems but this game is defiinitely alot of fun, if you like dbz u will have fun studying all the characters and theirs moves and how they look.
it stays pretty true to the dbz world. Each character has like 10-11 unique moves and some unique items that you can unequip and equip for fun to see how they would affect u in a fight. You have access to stuff like a world tournament to collect money to buy stuff in bulma's shop, and access to babadis spaceship where u can do simple stuff like run gauntlets, or bouince fireballs for score to unlock items. the dragon ball z world will always be a classic growing up it was alot of fun for me to watch. its definitely one of the better games on the ps2. check this out, if anything give it a rental you will have some fun. easy
