Save game not being detected

Anyone know the cause or a solution to this? I did a save and quit to title, few hours later I decide to get back on and the game refuses to acknowledge that I have same data present. I'm not even getting a "corrupt save detected".

Have ya got a backup save? Maybe try copying the file somewhere else and try to get it to read- a long shot admittedly cos if its missing some vital part of the data that would probably copy itself too but gotta be worth a try. Install the game fresh? Good luck anyway mate.

you are selecting the correct storage device, or cloud storage, where your save is?

It's not detecting anything except for brand new saves. Won't even acknowledge the cloud storage save.

Did you happen to delete your demo data?
Apparently that causes saves to corrupt

Yeah the demo got deleted a while ago. I'm really hope I can salvage the data, anyone happen to know if new game deletes the old pawn or gives you a new one? I don't think I'm gonna get lucky and salvage it.

damn, I was just about to delete the demo to make space, is it possible? How and where should I backup my save data?

When did u delete it ???Was when u got the problem or was long before that ??If was long before that isn't likely what cause it.

When did u delete it ???Was when u got the problem or was long before that ??If was long before that isn't likely what cause it.
The crap out happened today and I deleted the demo files months ago. Long before I bought the game.

no way of salvaging any saves as the game overwrites your ONE save you are allowed as soon as you start the game with an undetected save. great idea capcom. Maybe this was why the easy mode was brought in, to allow PO'd players to rush through the game after they're save gets ruined. Doubt i'll be playing again though.

hey this crap happened to me today. i just added the new patch with easy mode, and it said my demo save was not detected. uummm, ok, i never even played the damn demo and have never had an issue before, ok. well load up save game. oh wait, whats that? damn game wont detect my 100+hour game save and only allows me to start a new game. wtf???!!!!!! im not sure im gonna pick this game up again, i had gotten sooo far in the game and now i got to redo all that crap again!!!!!!
