shadowfort door/ frontier door

Hey guys I haven't been playing the game too long and I was wondering the door ontop of the shadowfort can it be opened? Also the door underneath in the frontier caverns is there any purpose for it? Thanks!!

Don't know bout the shadow fort but the frontier cavern door will be opened for a notice board quest for Cassasrdis. But I forget the name

the one in the frontier cavern does open near the end, and after you can open the one with the chest behind it. The quest is on the cassardis board, I think.

A quests called "A Challenge" that shows up in Cassardis post game has you travel to the Frontier Caverns to fight something that comes out of the large doors down there. Once you've defeated said "something", the small door opens up and allows access to the treasure chest behind it.
