One video review I watched mentioned that the 360 version has techical issues with freezing durring combat?  Anyone know if this has been fixed or is just isolated to the 360 version?

I would hope that people stop spreading lies around. I've played the retail PS3 version and already at the beginning the framerate of the prologue sequence was unacceptable to me. It hovered heavily around the mid to low twenties, perhaps even less at times, while the X360 demo mostly remained locked to the target 30 frames per second. I will be trading my version for the 360 one and expect a much superior experience in regards to framerate. IGN should just stop talking about things it can't grasp.

    ^^

Not everyone has the same experience when they play, so you can't really say that they are lying.

There's no two way to experience the framerate of a game on a fixed platform such as the consoles. Digital Foundry is going to put exact numbers on this but from what I've seen, the framerate of the Xbox version is superior on all accounts. For Ign to claim otherwise is irresponsible, or just plain dumb. It does have some heavy screen tearing though.

I saw the IGN review claiming the issues also, so when my copy came in I prepared for the worst. Nothing happened though it runs fine for without any issues except a little screen tearing but not slow down or NPC's taking a while to pop up. Maybe the Xbox they were using was in its final days. There was a day one update so maybe they addressed that issue with the patch. They also could of had a pre-release copy but im just talking out loud there....

It runs fine on 360 go ahead, buy it.

I was also worried about this but got the 360 version anyways and I'm happy I did.  After about 30 hours I have had ZERO issues, no freezing / hitching during combat or crashing, nothing at all.  I'm impressed so far with the lack of bugs, honestly.

One glitch worth noting, one you've ALL had happen. Pawn's should be able to use healing items you give to them to cure status effects AND to bolster their health. However at this time Pawn's rarely, if ever, use health restoring items. They will gladly use light-cures, however.

I tried the game before installing it onto my Xbox. Most of it was fine. Like, 95% of it was just fine. The only two complaints I had was that it sometimes froze for around 30 seconds after talking to NPC's involving the mini-cutscenes (like a child yelling at you and then the camera panning out to watch them run away) and there being a 5 or so second wait time after pressing buttons in the menu. After I installed the game to the Xbox, both problems vanished.

With and without installing the game (both) --- Dragon's Dogma has horrible shadow flickering.
