Thinking about buying to play the beta but is this RTS and/or turn based?

    I would have posted this on the other forums but for some reason they are read only, despite being recent posts. One of the comments was that it's not RTS but is 4X, well according to Wikipedia:

    "The first 4X games were turn-based, but real-time 4X games are not uncommon."

    So I can summise that 4X games can be both RTS and Turn Based, I don't mind turn based as I love CIV but definitely a RTS fan, thought Sins of a Solar Empire was great, although gets boring after a while. 

    So which is it, RTS, turn based or both? Thanks in advance.

    its turn based and combat is real time more info about the game is on steam

    Ign and gamerevolution both have reviews up for this game. It is turned based (except for combat which is a slightly different timed phase system.) Gamespot is pretty sparse with info on this game, but everywhere seems to suggest its good. I wish I had more time to try it out.
