- The Bottom Line:
- "Almost, but not quite"
This game's a lot of fun really but don't look for it to be extremely challenging or innovative. You can't really create a custom or unique character and their aren't really that many weapons or clothing sets in the game to choose from. The storyline was pretty good overall and the graphics while not stunning, were definitely acceptable; Albion has never looked better or felt more alive. The good vs. evil portion of this game felt a bit less amazing than in previous Fables for sure. I missed the horns and halos. I know it was a bit of a gimmick but it was their gimmick. I liked this game a lot... but it does feel like it's missing some of the charm from the other games and it definitely is missing some of the innovative characteristics of other titles in the genre. If you liked the other Fable games I think this is a game worth picking up, if you haven't played the others or if you are looking for something other than a hack and slash RPG this may not be for you.

Fable 3 tries too hard to reinvent and innovate the formula from the two previous games. While good, it is lacking.

Boros returns for one last time to Albion, but this time, he's wearing stupid gauntlets that let you use magic.
