Can anyone help me with Moriarty's safe? (Major Spoilers)

I talked to Jericho, and he told me Moriarty keeps all his money in a safe, and the key is around Moriarty's neck. So I stole the key, but I can't find the safe anywhere. Supposedly it's supposed to be by Moriarty's bed, but I can't find any safe, and I don't know where else he sleeps besides in the saloon.

Bump can someone help me. I found a wardrobe thing that has a lock on it, but the key doesn't work on it. It's next to the bed he sleeps in, and I need lockpick of 75 to open it. Is this glitched or something, or does the key work on something?

The one downstairs by the computer had the computer password I think. The computer just tells you where his father is. The one that's locked with a level 75 lock is supposed to have 300 caps in it. I'll have to wait until my lockpicking skill is 75 next level to see for sure.

BTW I checked the one that had a lock of 75 on it. And all that was in there was a shotgun, and like 10 shells! I think that unmarked mission is glitched.

that's basically a beginner mission to teach you about passwords. it has been a while, but i'm pretty sure if you look around the same room with the computer you'll find his password i a bookshelf or something nearby.

Yeah in his office by the bar there is that cabinet that has an easy lock on it IIRC, that has the password. But there was supposed to be a safe that had 300 caps. Maybe it's not there because I talked to that lady that's hiding from Moriarty, and took all her caps before going to megaton.

He has a key on him, but it opens that cabinet in his office which just has the password for the computer to continue the main questline.
