1 Like definitely better.The weapons in FarCry2 were crappy and had more recoil.the weapons definitely seem awesome.Skydiving and riding choppers is something new.not to forget speed boats.You can actually shoot the animals and skin them.
3 Like agreed. FC2 was terrible. i never finished it. This is definitely an early Christmas present for thy self.
1 Like FarCry2 was very frustrating and difficult.You had to travel to one end of the map to start a mission and from there yet another end to finish it.And on the way you constantly encountered enemies in jeeps.Hope this game is fun.Enjoyed the first.
This is the game I'm most excited about. I'm sick of playing superheroes with magic or crazy firepower. I love the idea of playing an average and relateable character in a believable scenario.

I'm real excited for this game, but i do think the HDR should be revamped in the engine. It looks pretty atrocious!
its moved from a november release to a december release, doesn't matter there is a lot of good stuff, coming out over the next couple of months. lookin forward to this. looks like a huge improvement over the last one.

apart from the persistant respawn road blocks and the annoying (almost saints row-ish) guard chases, the difficulty of game saving, and the maleria - I enjoyed Far Cry 2. The MP was particularly good too. I do hope that Ubisoft have taken all these points on board (often negatively mentioned) in order to make FarCry 3 and absolutley boss game - it certainly looks the part!

That is even greater then the previous, I am a huge fan of Far Cry! But are those two sister and brother? Why do they fight each other?
It looks like a great game, let's hope that it's not like the second...didn't like that game...
too bad it's not gonna look this crisp on console. haha. but oh well, I'll be fine. This game is going to be so awesome.
@Janpieterzun you took the words right out of my mouth. first they innovate with AC3, then it's back to the same old song. boooooo! I love the technical prowess of this game, but my $60 ain't supporting that kind of propoganda

OOOOOOR maybe people in general can create hate in thier minds thus becomming the haters they excuse hayers of being. Ouch! That is the sting of the truth biting in.
