The show is slowly growing on me and the intro tune is pretty nice. Keep bringing in interesting guests. I do have one huge gripe concerning the technical side of the show, though. If you don't have any control over this, please pass it on to the person who does. Thanks. So here goes. Every other episode is encoded differently. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, if some of the episodes weren't encoded at 22kHz sampling rate. For a podcast, this is a bad idea. Reason: lack of vocal clarity. No one does this for a podcast, it's too low grade. Write this down: 64-80kbps @ 44kHz, MONO (using Stereo is redundant since all the channels are mixed to be in the middle). End of story.

One more thing. How does one find the page of the show without searching "gamespot gameplay"? It's supposed to be under Features. How do I get to Features from the front page of the site? To make matters worse, "Gameplay" is listed under the Video tab, which has little to do with the show (it's actual game play footage ;) ). It should be listed under CULTURE, where the Hotspot already so neatly sits, despite it being defunct. Oh the irony. All this applies to Quoted for the Truth. The Web team needs to get their sh*t together, seriously.

Thanks guys again for another great show with another awesome guest. I just have to complain about one thing. I didn't like the part where Kevin made fun of some user comments regarding the EA, Zynga lawsuit, and somehow implied that some gamespot users are not intelligent. Maybe it shouldn't have bothered me. I just don't think it's nice to make fun off people who are really passionate about games and consider gamespot, their favorite video game site.

Anyway, like I said, thanks for the episode. Looking forward to next week's show.

This is great and all... but it really lack a certain "Magrino" element, without which, gamespot shows are no longer the same.

I hate to be "that guy" but I'm a Linkin Park fan, and feel I should at least comment on some of the LP talk in the podcast. There isn't a single LP album I haven't enjoyed in some capacity, for various reasons.

LP has gotten flack in recent years for "turning their back" on their old music and "selling out". Basically, the fans of the older stuff claim that their new stuff is too soft, and not emotional or hard/rock enough to be real. Essentially, people are pissed off that they don't scream as much as they used to, and that they are no longer angry at everything.

(Also, for the record, Chester Bennington [sp] is the Singer/Screamer. He does both. Mike Shinoda is the Rapper, though he does sing from time to time too, and has done so more often as time's gone on.)

As far as how they might be able to bring emotional depth to a game like Medal of Honor...well, their second to last album A Thousand Suns was an electronica/fusion concept album about Nuclear weapons, nuclear war, and how people deal with it, and what it can do (and has done) to the world. (LP fans who hate the fact that LP grew up and are no longer angry at everything hated this album. Shock and surprise.) So I think they have the chops to bring some actual emotion to the table, if they're allowed to go as weird/crazy as they feel like. Do I think it will pan out? NOPE. But could it? I think so.

I thought Chris and Maxwell were perverted during the Persona 4 Arena demo during E3 this year, but this proved me wrong. XD

I was surprised with how long it took Tom to name Halo 2. I thought you loved Halo, Tom?

The legend of this episode faltered never. 

Easily my favorite of the show so far! :D

I listen to the Besties Podcast (Polygon) every week so this was a great treat for me.  Thanks for a great show guys!
