This walkthrough is freakin awful. It's more like a synopsis of the story. Doesn't help me solve cases at all.

L.A. Noire Walkthrough
Crime doesn't pay. Our L.A. Noire Walkthrough will show you how to solve crimes, catch liars, and provide tips for cleaning up the streets.
Warrants Outstanding
You'll be chasing after a crook from Dunn's past that's skipped his parole. Chase him through the street and up to the roof tops. Don't get too close while you're both climbing; if you are near a suspect while ascending, they will automatically shove you down.

On the roofs, you'll get into a fist fight. Like most brawls in the game, block the enemies attacks and come in with a strong counter punch. Lay in a grapple or a finisher to end the case for good.
Kurtis Seid is a sadomasochist for games. He’s clocked over 200 days in a Final Fantasy entry but isn’t sure if he’s actually a fan of the series. His ideal game would somehow involve the harshest elements of King’s Quest, Team Fortress, River City Ransom, Ogre Battle, and Dark Souls.
Buzzboy, right on man.. A a bit of effort on a hifi version of gameFAQs would have been good linked to universal sign-in to Gamespot and gameFAQs.. Pffft as bad as raptr, good idea just sloppy coding and implementation of assests.. Who wants another app that runs on the taskbar signed in sucking up your RAM ...
Yeah, I've gotta say the quality of Gamespot's game guides has really gone downhill over the years. But that's really more of an Industry-wide problem. No one expects to pay for them anymore, and for the general walkthrough type info that you really need a .txt file written by a fellow gamer works just fine. My only question is this: Why did CNET spend the money to buy GameFAQs if they never intended to assimilate it into Gamespot? I mean, its silly to direct users to a different site just for cheat codes and walkthroughs when they've been owned by the same company for over EIGHT YEARS now. I doubt most of the people who come here now even remember when the two sites were separate. tl;dr The GameFAQs Walkthroughs and Cheats should all be a part of Gamespot
quite helpful if you have already played the game but want to get 100% in the missions you have played
This film reel location guide is a joke! Look at the location for The Narrow Margin. A name of a street would be nice!
This isn't a game guide, it just tells you what happens. Was expecting how to get 100% in each section.
xedgorex Yes it does require a lot of attention and a degree of intelligence. Not that I'm saying you lack both lol
Ill write it again ok sorry.. Why would anyone need a guide to this game??? I only played like mmm not even half of it...I didnt like it srry.
shot through the heart i'll play this game but phelps gave love a bad name bad name phelps gave love a bad name , I wanted to see phelps fall in the tar pits and get all black and sticky and then go back to his rusian blues bar tramp so all this and the driving in consideration I will stick by my score of a solid 9 . remember Gamespot is a Good place to be , you'll always find criminals here ! take care guys ......
Zigger21 you are trolling, why does everyone take this sh^& so seriously. Gamer 4 voiced his opinion and you jump him. Let'm speak, if you dont like it done read it.
@johnybutler11 ok now tell me butler bro what exactly did I say that sounded trollish to you? Even if I mentioned cold hard facts its considered trollish these days?
I like this game but wished you could get a interveiw wrong so it would be misleading
I dont know why you need guide, you can play the game without shooting a weapon by skipping it and driving sequence and you can't even fail an interview and restart the game
@jdt532 Go to google and type in something like LA Noire Traffick Desk guide and it should be in the top links. I know there is 1 site that did an entire guide telling you what to choose during interigations.
@kenthuss There is the pistol, shotgun, and tommy gun which you can get through out the game. The last weapon is the Flame Thrower, which you get in the final mission. After you eliminate the guys in the sewers, You will come across a hallway with the stairs to the right at the end of it and at the top is a door, Go through the door and the Flame Thrower will be there on the right. Once you go down the stairs and go through the rising water, Climb the ladder and go to the left and head down the stairs to kill the guy shooting at you and there you go.
can anybody help me with " KILL A BAD GUY WITH EVERY GUN " . IF YOU CAN GUIDE ME SEND ME AN EMAIL
Where are the answers to interviews and interrogations? You know weather the people are telling the truth or lying are if you doubt them and if they are lying what proof do you use to back up the accusation... Without that this guide isn't very useful.
This is fairly useless as a guide to the game. It is little more than an overview of the story and a list of achievements/locations. There are better guides out there including the correct responses in interviews and film locations with pictures.
Couldn't you exactly tell us wich of Eli/Hugo/... 's statements are true, doubtful or a lie? this is a GUIDE ,right?if you could add it,it will be very helpful
@twztid13 YES thank you I am aware that all the information is out there in web land... Two things though, I don't have access to the internet 24/7 and I wasn't wanting to find out the answers without playing the game myself! I was playing it with trial and error methods, all other methods would give me the answers without playing the game properly! Now I have finished it, that maybe the way to do it but I found this way more immersive for me.
@gandalf_storm You're supposed to throw the child molester into prison. And yes, you're supposed to send the wrong guy... in every Homicide case.
@punksterdaddy you know you can go to www.gamefaqs.com and look all that stuff up without having to do all that work on your own, right?
i sent moller down and got a 1 star rating wtf ? - and moaning the notes about his daughter being a orphan, was I supposed to send the wrong guy down for this ?
@jonnybutler11 Smart, it isn't... Tedious, it most certainly is... That's no problem, I just thought I would share what I have been doing while playing the game. Just to see if that would be any help to you, I knew it was going to be a long shot because there has been a few times I just wanted to play through without going back and re-doing the interviews again but now I am glad that I just kept with it... even though it is really tedious! Hey, thanks for your offer of help, I may just take you up on it sometime? I am like you, with the FAQs idea but the nearest I have came to is by answering Qs on here at gamespot. The problem with that though is that most people have answered before I have even read them myself! lol Peace Out
@punksterdaddy lol thanks :P that's actually real thoughtfull of you... your method is smart, too bad it's a bit tedious. I'll be sure to try it out within the next few days if the guide doesn't get updated. till then I'll just work on my bioshock 2 and rdr platinums. ps if you ever need some help with anything I'd be just as glad to help. I've thought of writing FAQs in the past and have never gotten around to it but if you want any help I'd be glad to give you a hand
@jonnybutler11 Okay so you have beaten the game and are now after all the trophies? I have been writing down all the answers as I go in order to achieve the best possible mark for each case solved. I presume that you haven't done that? Let me know how or if I can help in any way and I will get back to you with some answers. This is what I have done up until now. Every interview conducted (after the 3rd or 4th) I started writing down the person you are questioning, the case name and the correct answers given. When Cole asks a question, then you have 3 choices as you know? Take down the correct line of questioning = True, Doubt or Lie... and make sure you write down in numerical order given in your notebook... I am meaning... Always ask the top question (in your notebook) and write down in that order T,D or L. If you choose the wrong answer during questioning, then you can switch it off and reload back to the start of that scene but unfortunately if at a home or somewhere then you will need to do a quick search again of the home you are in first. This is what I started doing and so far most of my cases have all been 5 star rated, the others that weren't was due to my useless driving skills (or lack of). Hope this is of some help to you? If not then let me know? I'll be happy to help.
I think the access to desks is where you select Cases in the main menu where Resume/new etc is, it will prompt you to choose which case file you want, then u can choose which case and replay it for a better star rating or free roam for the reels and the street crime cases and finish any of them which you didn't get the first time you were going through
