The DmC reboot lands next week, so today we're going back to the beginning with the original Devil May Cry.
Your Random Encounter of the day involves a surly young gentleman with a fine mop of white hair. Join the live stream as Danny and Martin get reacquainted with Dante in the original Devil May Cry ahead of the reboot's arrival next week. Expect lots of hacking, slashing, and hack and slash.

4 Like Ah, too bad that DmC is gonna be garbage! WTF CAPCOM? 5 years since DMC4 and this is what you give us? Damn you, Ninja Theory! Your demo was junk.
The first DMC is beyond a classic. It's a genre-busting, console action game CANON. Please give us a real DMC, CAPCOM.

Man, People are just blindly hating on the new DmC at least wait for reviews or try it before bashing it
2 Like @EPaul Sorry man, but the DmC demo was awful. It might have been OK for a regular action game, but not a DMC. It doesn't have that "DMC MAGIC". It doesn't have that professional, CAPCOM feel.
1 Like @EPaul Yes, we tried it and that's why they made a demo! We don't have to beat the game to know that it actually sucks!

@EPaul @evil-zodiark No it can't. The demo is what we're getting. That's why they release a demo, to let us feel the gameplay. It's the Unreal Engine that gives DmC it's FEEL and it doesn't feel like a DMC.
I don't care about the look or world, at all. I liked the new Dante. It's the crappy, indie/new developer feel that the game has.

The Demo could of been from an earlier build, you never know. My point is at least wait for the game to be release first before trashing it

DMC1 and 3 are the best H&S games of all time, NT doesn't deserve to make a DMC game with HS mediocre gameplay.... DmC gameplay is alittel better however but nothing close to the original DMC....
@evil-zodiark Ninja gaiden should be mentioned in that discussion of the best H&S games of all time.
