Sound Byte Radio Episode 11: Okami, Mirror's Edge, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Jonathan Toyad
By Jonathan Toyad, Associate Editor

We showcase some electronica from EA's first-person action platformer, a bit of Celtic pride, and an upbeat piano rendition of an Okami track.

Greetings and salutations, fellow music lovers. Our aural selection for this week's episode is a smattering of classical, orchestra, electronic and funk. It's hard to imagine all of these genres combining together into one cohesive listening experience, but we made it possible.

In other words: Hey! Listen!

Download the latest episode here. We would also like to apologize for the three-week delay due to both technical issues and work obligations. Do keep in mind that Sound Byte Radio is here to stay, though on a sporadic basis.

See you next episode; we've got something special cooked up for the twelfth and last episode for the season.

There should be a tab for this in the main page. Sometimes there are things from four days ago in there, but when something nice like this comes up people end up missing it. It's really a waste.

@AndCarlsen I know what you mean, I had to do a search just to find it again and I just commented on it yesterday. =\

now that i think about it, skyward looks like a mix of windwaker and twilight princess style graphics

@Tacojoint  yep.. that was the point of it :D, the perfect balance for the cartoony link, though I still prefer TP's graphic style over any other
