Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Moogles and Chocobos! Welcome to the best Final Fantasy track competition! Here we will determinate which track is the greatest of the greatest.
How will we do that? Every day I will post a thread with a battle. All you have to do is vote for one of them. At the end, there will be only one. The true contest begins now!
Rules:
I don't like rules, and neither do you so I'll keep it short.
Only one vote per account, and the account has to be created before 11/05/2012 (EU) That's all.
I can't force you to do anything, but I expect everyone to listen to both tracks before voting.
And please don't vote for a track simply because it's from your favourite game, or because it's the theme of your favourite character.
If there's a tie, I will flip a coin.

Nothing from me today because I was too busy to write anything (ok, I admit. I forgot it), but my vote goes to Dust to Dust.

Two very similar songs in tempo and rhythm and solemnness. Eternity main instrument is a piano that always seems to hit minor chords in the strangest places, and Dust to Dust is a violin piece with hypnotic singing in the background. I really don't know what to choose here.
I think I'll vote for Eternity on this one but its close.

I don't think either of them is very good, but Eternity sounds like a generic piano piece to me and a huge step down from the FFX OST.
I don't expect a lot of votes this round.

Voting Dust to Dust myself, I love the Oerba Village theme, definitely tops the other for me, though I enjoy Eternity.

Dust to Dust reminds me of The Dream Will End Someday, which was one of my favorite tracks from X. While Eternity is nice, it's a shame it has to come from THAT game. >.>
