I've played DD demo and it's interesting.
can't exactly compare them since DD is a wRPG.

Its got its issues, but it's very enjoyable. The whole thing oozes a sense of nostalgia I don't get when playing other WRPGs, and it's something different as far as gameplay goes. The soundtrack is also solid. I certainly recommend you check it out if you get the chance. Also be sure to download my character, "Senor Swag" and take him on adventures with you. He's a hit! :3
Anyone who complains about DD having an unorginal lore/story (Or lack of story...) are completely missing the principle Capcom was working behind when developing this game. If you can't wrap yourself around the classic "Orcs and Dragons" lore, then you may not find yourself as vested into the world as myself or others.
I didn't bring up XIII-2 because, well, there's nothing about this title you shouldn't know about by now.

Dragon's Dogma is the closest thing to an action JRPG you find these days. Incredibly satisfying.

Any game is better than a game from Crapcon
DD looks like a lame rip off of Dragon Age and Skyrim.
Crapcon should stick to street fighter and mega man and leave RPGs to the professionals.

I don't give a **** about personal company vendettas. It's petty. If I like a product, I buy it, simple as that. I liked SFxT, so I bought it. I never gave Asura's Wrath or Operation Racoon City any sort of notice because I simply didn't really like the offered experience. As for DLC, well everyone's doing this stuff, including XIII-2. Dragon's Dogma offers a good amount of depth and a lengthy experience without any DLC so far, so why not enjoy it? It's certainly shouldn't send a bad message to Capcom.
The only thing I can really hate on Capcom for is announcing and cancelling Megaman Legends 3. That was amazing potential, down the drain without any warning.

I know what people mean with J/WRPGs, but it's wrong. It doesn't define the game in any way. Action RPG, Tactical RPG, Turn based RPG etc. That's what defines a game.
