Mount and Blade Warband is just under a Gig. Regular M&B was around 500-600MB. Though with mods the game file can be quite large. The only other games on my comp under one Gig are Torchlight and AoEII.

Dynamically spawned textures and extremely low-poly count models iirc.
Still amazed they managed to keep it in 96 kB.

I thought this was for some "mobile" gaming by using a USB thumb drive to store the game. I remmeber putting Demigo at 1.5 GB when it came out and playing on my college campus comps.
