    a game that is literally Tempest with another title and furry porn references - and then he was never heard from again?

    How did this guy get a reputation as an influential, important figure in gaming? His entire career can pretty much be summed up as remaking Tempest.

    He's making variations on a theme. The theme might not interest you, but there is value in doing that. It's a little like Ed Boon making a new Mortal Kombat every other year. Lots of people aren't interested in it, but fans appreciate the small changes and gameplay exploration in each installment, whether or not outsiders even notice them.

    I like Tempest and I actually like Space Giraffe too (check my gamertag to confirm). I'm just saying.

    (Plus he didn't create Tempest, he's just made a few updated versions - comparing him to Boon isn't really apt)
