It has come to my attention that there are some kpop fans here, so we might as well dedicate a thread to it.. :D
The Kpop I usually listen to are usually songs from girl groups, or solo artist, I'm not really a fan of any male group but I like the members of Beast and 2PM.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
I hate K-pop
Same for me. I'm also don't like k-pops because it is overrated. K-pops are eye-candies and they just show how beautiful songs with plastic-surgeoned face. It's real because many of them doing so to make it more attractive. My younger sistes likes k-pop too much and also some of my friends and i hope i'm don't want to see crazy issues about being a die-hard k-pop fan like "i'm gonna to move and live in south korea forever because i'm a die hard k-pop fan!"- Please wait. If I want to listen deep music I would listen to jazz or cIassical. I agree with your comment about K-pop fans though, some of them are crazy.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

But then again, the same goes for every entertainment product. Looks-wise, saying they're all plastic-ed is stereotyping. And In the cases that they are, plastic surgery is commonplace in South Korea after all, and companies will obviously want to package their artistes as beautiful/handsome people. As Lonelynight said, yes, some fans can be rather extreme, but then again, the same can be said for other bands/whatever too, just that K-Pop is a more recent and relevant case here.

NOW PLAYING: Warriors Orochi 1-3, Metal Gear Acid, Naruto: UNI, Naruto: UNH, Luminous Arc
WANT: Dynasty Warriors Next, Resident Evil 6, Kid Icarus: Uprising
You in Singapore/Malaysia? I'm going for T-ara's. :D
Nope, Philippines. They weren't even scheduled to go here, just that Pulp Live contacted YG just to have them come here and perform.
The ones I've really listened to include 2NE1, SNSD, 4minute, After School, f(x) and Super Junior (I attended SS3 with my supposed prom date.) I also listened to a few of MBLAQ, and B2ST songs. Plus ZE:A's Mazeltov; I liked the dance. After School's new album ftw!
In the case of liking K-pop, I recently accepted that it's not for everyone. I'm severely attracted to catchy dance tracks which I feel makes up a majority of K-pop songs (where dances can sometimes even be more important than their lyrics or whatnot.) It's generally uncool in my school mainly because they don't understand the language and many think that many male idols are gay I guess it's because when we were kids dancing was more attuned to femininity than as a healthy recreation for anyone. Generic teenage society here have greater affinity for acoustic love songs among other things which might also be why K-pop doesn't really appeal to them.

The only form of dancing which I think people here consider acceptable for guys is breakdancing, which I can't do to save my life. It's sad because in my school a dance crew was recently set up and only boys who could do a freeze or a dolphin lift actually made it through, and it seems as if I'm the only one who noticed. I'm auditioning either way to prove them wrong.

Lucky (?) I'm not really a fan of them so I'm definitely not going for the concert. Too expensive plus too many groups. XD Yeah, their dance moves are really nice. I used to listen to J-Pop, where it was mostly just the song itself that was catchy. Sure, they had dances too but not as powerful as K-Pop dance moves. And there's the whole mature, sexy image vs young, cute thing going on too.

So far I've watched IRIS and Athena, and The Fugitive since it was on TV. I've finished Invincible Youth and about half of Oh! My School. Stopped half-way due to exams, I'll probably start watching again soon. Otherwise it's mostly random shows on cable (KBS World, Arirang). Oh yeah, I also watched KARA Bakery, Girls go to School and some other group-related shows. Trying to start watching the T-ara ones but games are eating my time.

For GGTS it was during SNSD's debut days. Oh right, I also watched Nicole goes to College, that's when I started to like her too. :D

I wouldn't mind if they replace the other members as long as Sunny is still one of the members.(would be better if they didn't though)
I hope I can see Soyeon more on other variety shows once OMS is canceled as she was one of the reasons why I like OMS so much. She really leaves an impression on people.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

I finished watching Detectives in Trouble and Formidable Rivals on KBS World. I've also watched past shows with my mom, namely My Girl, East of Eden and My Name is Kim Sam Soon. I'm really interested with Smile Again and Babyfaced Beauty right now.
Oh! My School hasn't been taken off air here yet.. I think it's because we're behind on the episodes, so I still watch it every Tuesday night. 1N2D as well! Friday nights.
I actually wrote down KBS World's timeslots for my favorite shows for ALL days on the week on my board lol.
