Figured this should be a seperate thread so the other discussion doesn't get lost among the game shuffle. So far we've already had
    -Raheem Morris Fired
    -Steve Spagnulo fired
-Bill and Chris Polian fired, and probably Caldwell too once the new GM comes in
-Mel Tucker and Todd Bowlers persumbly de fato fired.
    -Jerry Angelo fired
-Norv Turner and A.J. Smith not fired

Jeff Fisher looks certain to be hired by someone at this point this offseason, he may even end up with 3-4 options at his selection when it's all said and done. We could also see coaches like Brian Billick, Mike Sherman, Mike Mularky, Brian Scottenheimer, among others be hired in weeks to come. INot to mention the unlikely but still possible Bill Cowher, and whoever emerges during the playoffs.

Then there's the seemingly never-ending Manning/Luck fiasco we've all seen it coming for 3 months, yet we're no closer to a resolution now than we were back then. In my personal opinon I don't see keeping Manning, much less having Manning and Luck on the same team in the cards. When I step back from the name and look from the sitution from the outside I don't understand how to justify giving a 35-year-old quarterback who had 3 surgeries in 18 months as sensisble, no matter who that player is.

I've said this for a long time now, Cowher is not going to be coaching next year or anytime in the immediate future. He just doesn't want to coach, unless they come in and make him coach and GM or give him a GM that will do everything he wants he's not going to coach again, and I don't see any team willing to do that right now.

It's not offseason.......you'd have a better case if it said "2012 NFL thread", besides coaches getting canned isn't news, or only for about a week until the real games start.

Once the Super Bowl has been played the offseason will begin. Until then I think we should stick with the sticky. (no pun intended)

Oh yeah, I'd like to see Dom Capers fired because the Packers Defense is a wreck.

Why does everyone want 'the Jaw' or Gruden to coach their teams???
...would you really want an NFL head coach you had to 'convince' to coach. They have to have that 'fire' to put in the necessary effort/go through the grind.
Steve Spurrier attempted to live a normal life and coach in the NFL...how did that work out?

exactly. No team will ever win a super bowl with Vick as their quarterback.

...Do I really have to explain how important Vick is to the Eagles?
Do I have to explain that Vick has the Eagles in 2 games, got knocked out in them, and the Eagles did not score a single point afterwards? Or how mightily the Eagles run game suffered when Vick was out? But whatever, I am not sure about the Eagles... I don't know if I want Juan gone

I always found that though process funny. Vick gets injured not because he takes more hits in and out the pocket then any QB in the NFL, but because he is made of glass.

Oh, and what injury are you talking about? Vick had BROKEN ribs, Romo had fractured ones. Vick had a concussion. You can't come back from a concussion. Vick had a hand contusion, Romo sat out with that same injury (though that may have been because the game was meaningless) and played terrible the next week when it did matter, grabbing garbage yards and TDs to make his fantasy owners not hate him.
