I noticed that the link to Forums on the Team Fortress 2 page leads to the Half-Life series board. I would like to pose a question here.

Team Fortress 2's canonical, thematic and gameplay designs diverge a lot from those of the much more serious and believable Half-Life, ever since it evolved into a game of its own identity since The Orange Box.

I know that it shares a lot of assets with other Valve games: it uses the same engine, has the same artists working on concept artwork and promotional materials, even sometimes the same writers, etc. There are more than a few outrageous cross-over attempts, and not just with Valve's games.

    Beezer.

The silliness of Team Fortress 2 alone should be enough to convince many that it just doesn't belong together with the likes of Left 4 Dead and Half-Life. And no, G-Mod doesn't count!

    Francise will hate this.

P.S. I know that I had already made a request under the Requests board, but I am using this topic as more than a mask for a duplicated thread.

All the ladies below (mostly drawn by a certain awesome but, for better or worse, not-so-well known fan artist) are actual game characters, though not (necessarily) THAT kind of games if you are thinking about those.

Maybe you want to read this: POSSIBLE BAIT & SWITCH IN TRIBES: ASCEND.

Um, hell no. And IMO Portal shouldn't be, but sadly it is. The tones just don't mesh.

Well, good news is that Team Fortress 2 has its own board now.
