iPhone 4S Demand CONTINUES to Grow
- Apr 22, 2012 7:03 pm GMT
I agree with the TC. There are too many phones to choose from all the different manufactures and operating systems.
I got a IPhone 4 last year, and i will wait for a IPhone 5 for my next phone. Its much easier that way. The way i see it, every other phone out there is just trying to duplicate Iphone anyway.

- Apr 23, 2012 2:45 am GMTexcept the like of the galaxy s2 and htc sensation do everything the iphone does except better. The iphone is now just to small to feel like a real contender to the 4"+ Phones out there. Iphone may be fast but the tiny screen put it next to budget to midrange droids in my book. Apple is all about pixel density over screen size which really isn't important if you screen is to small to view full size websites. Why is it apple owners that always complain when there is no mobile website?

In other news, Apple accounted for 78% of contract smartphones sold by AT&T. Quite the percentage.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Apr 26, 2012 2:35 am GMTit doesn't say anything about that just a 43% drop in sales since q411. Plus if we are talking about phones you can't just count on contract customers. Samsung is outselling apple.

Your posts are irrelevant apple makes this big profit blah blah blah nothing to do with what you said. I never suggested apple is in any sort of trouble due to selling slightly less iphone this quarter. The only relevant thing here is that you were "wrong" and should quit with these baseless surveys and "expert" reports. Just admit you are wrong when you are wrong jeez.

Since the phone didnt exist last year, where are they pulling that 88% growth from? From 2011 2nd qt-This compares to only $13.50 billion in revenue and $3.07 billion in profits just a year ago in the same quarter. Apple sold 3.76M Macs, *18.65M iPhones* and 4.69M iPads in the second quarter of 2011. The 18.65 million iPhones sold in the second quarter eclipses the previous record of 16.24 million set just last quarter. derrrpppp But I can see that it now doesn't fit your argument and has been rendered invalid. Ok then.
Gambler, why don't you take after some of your ex-android colleagues and jump ship? You should have already seen some recognizable Android users in here that have moved on over and now own an iPhone. They were able to own an Android and subjectively try an iPhone and stayed for obvious reasons. (iOS is better than Android)- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

You are absolutely golden. You have actually gone past the stage of attacking android at every step and instead now just say you should switch since just because. You cite "recognizable" android users (I've yet to see any), you list no reasons. In fact, your only argument is "iOS is better than Android"
Even better, when fronted with the fact that 4S demand has objectively slown to a more reasonable but still insane rate, you simply attack those who remind it. Is it so ****ing necessary to be so pathetically blind that you have to mindlessly defend your platform? Grow up, the lot of you.

... let's not forget my roots were with Motorola before hopping on the 3GS (with an upgrade over x-mas to the 4S). Blindness is attributed to those who's never owned both OS's. I'm far from blind. Believe me, I "see much clearer" than you. Just ask any of the people I listed. They'll say the same exact thing.as far as 4S sales slowing down, did you stop to consider that may is around the corner? have you learned anything in the past four years? With a new iPhone just two to three months around the corner, this is all business-as-usual. With Apple being consistent with annual refreshes, what makes you think people haven't been holding off for the anticipated new version? How much more did the 4S sell in one month compared to the 4? How much more did the 4 sell compared to the 3GS? How much more did he 3GS sell compared to the 3G?
Like I said...... You're in for a rude awakening when the new iPhone comes out in the summer.
