Is it just me or does this year's E3 seem kind of blah...? If not, what is THE big secret or BIG game this year? It seems like we know just about everything and there are no surprises left.

E3's always a bit "blah" if go only by what we know will be there. It's the unannounced stuff that makes the show exciting.

This is going to be the second year in a row that the Nintendo conference is going to be the big draw for me. The big iand hopefully final) reveal of the WiiU(and hopefully the official asking price, and (again, hopefully) a metric ton of 3DS announcements. The Konami pre-e3 conference is also going to be really exciting.

El ZoRRo vs Omega Prime! Witness the epic battle yourself! Who was right? Lord only knows(well, Him and anyone who finished the ninth grade...)

My gaming blog and a different kind of videogame review.

E3 is one show I can easily get excited for. It's all the others now that don't interest me like they use to.

To a extent I agree, it seems that most titles that "should" of been announced at E3 have already spilled the beans on the inter webs, what games you ask? Dead space 3, New gears of war game, Assassins creed 3, new ratchet and clank game, Sony's SSBB rip off etc, hopefully where still only on the brink of what E3 has coming for us.

The whole point of 'The big secret' is, it's a Secret! we will have to wait and see. I don't get why people think E3 is going to fail this year. This year has just as much potential as the last. E3 is going to be amazing as always. It's my favorite time of the year. I take the whole time off work just so I dont miss a moment.

IMHO... nothing comes close to the year when MGS2 was announced for the PS2. That was epic. That's what I'm talking about. It would have been nice if Konami would have kept the new Castlevania under wraps this year. What would make this grand for me is if Half-Life 3 was announced, but I don't think that will happen. Same goes with Heavenly Sword 2, New Tenchu (re-designed system), Double Dragon, etc. I missed the whole Wii generation even though we brought one for our daughter. I only played the Wii sports.

I just don't care to see a rep from one of the various companies (who does not know the controls very well by the way) come out and make a grand presentation on Black Ops, GTA V, God of War, etc. We ALL know the engine and the play mechanics. I want to be WOWED!!! Are my expectations too high?

Well considering how much the last few E3s sucked, it's probably smart to think it'll be disappointing.

I mean, I'll be going into it expecting nothing but motion controlled crap for casual idiots, and the obvious sequels to AAA games. Theres no way I can be disappointed this time, unless they announce that all the next gen consoles will block used games, be always online and have mandatory motion controls or something.

With the E3 lineup, I expect some of my most-anticipated games, such as AC III and Borderlands 2, to be talked about. But I agree with C_Rake; all of us are more excited about the unannounced projects than anything else and to see if they will be good or bad.
