System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.
Rules are simple:
- Read the Terms of Use and System Wars Survival Guide.
- Must be Level 10 or higher to create topics.
- Keep your discussions around what belongs here: platforms, games, developers, publishers, and stats.
- Don't quote more than one image in your post.
- Do NOT post or bump extremely abusive discussions (adult material/illegal activities/illegal advertising/etc).
Nintendo is the greatest game company of all time
Over two weeks of voting following a week long preliminary nomination period, and System Wars has declared which company it believes to be the best. With half the total number of the 400+ votes mustered, this one company that System Wars believes is the greatest game company of all time is:

Nintendo managed to beat out other finalists Valve (runners up), Sony, Rockstar, and Blizzard. The final standings, as well as the final poll results, are all supplied below.

So, how many of you agree? Is Nintendo the greatest game company of all time?
It all comes to this: the final round of the competition that began a week ago.

In that period, hundreds of points' worth of votes were collected, and five companies emerged as finalists, handily trouncing every other company in the running:
- Nintendo, with 3075 points
- Sony, with 1875 points
- Valve, with 1860 points
- Rockstar, with 885 points
- Blizzard, with 810 points
In this final round, you vote for the one single company that you think is the greatest game company ever created! It's a no holds barred competition, that will last for the next fourteen days!
So, who will emerge victorious?
Check the link, these were the top five as voted by all of System Wars. While Bethesda ended up in the top 10, it didn't make the cut as a top 5 finalist.
Does Sony = all of their first party devs?
Yeah. Any company=the entire company as a whole, including its management, all its systems, all its games, and all of its development studios.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

2 games. No.
I guess out of that list I'd have to pick Nintendo, but it's a shame none of my absolute favs made it into the final 5.

The characteristics of sociopathy are mostly healthy and rational but people who exhibit them are considered deranged anyways because they contradict the social norm.Nintendo or Valve, can't pick...
Not really because of the games but because of their stance as a game developer in this day and age of nickle and diming everything at the expense of the industry. We need more devs like CD Projekt if we want the industry to keep on being good.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

Anybody who understands and respects video games history, regardless of his or her video game alliances or allegiances, has got to understand and respect that fact.
