Anyone having trouble adding friends on steam?

because every time i try to add people on steam i get a "this feature is not availible at this time" message. and been like this for the whole day now..
is it just me or you guys getting this also?

I have signatures turned off for a reason....
I don't know, haven't added a friend in about a year.... But Steam Client did get an update. Have you restarted Steam Client? I noticed that he online, busy, away options got an update. New selections of Wanting to Trade, and Wanting to Play have been added.
