Have you heard her redone version with a drone instead of layers of her voice? Sounds great

No I haven't. Can you link me?

Now Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, Secret of Mana

My 100 favorite songs of All Time. And because I ran out of blog post space, here's the second part of the list.

Recent Reviews: Mother 3, Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

    I love Sia's voice.

I almost hate to say it, but I really like the song she did for Twilight (she sounds kind of similar to Bjork there) but I'm disappointed to find therest of her work doesn't sound anything like it. I'm especially not a fan of her recent upbeat, pop-ish stuff.

Otherwise I'm really liking The Jezabels.

I didn't know she made a song for Twilight (since I won't go near that movie with a ten foot pole). I'll have to check it out. What's it called?

It's interesting to hear the song with her natural voice. I liked it, but the original is definitely superior, and I didn't care for what she did with the "Whatcha say" part of the song in that drone version.

Warning: I dont listen to a large variety of artists.

I like Kate Bush as well (her voice is mostly interesting imo in the Never for Ever and The Dreaming albums). I also like Elizabeth Fraser from Cocteau Twins (also already mentioned). And finally Amy Winehouse.

These are the ones I remember and stand out for me.

My Love (you can find it on her Best Of album). Some interpretations fall back to it simply being about Twilight, but others relate it to Sia and her boyfriend/fiance who was killed in a car accident... and with that in mind, it makes the song heartbreaking.
