    Hello strategy lovers.

I only played 1 strategy game ever and that was 'Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn'

    This game was AMAZING!

Can anybody tell me a good strategy game and a bit like Fire Emblem?

    Thanks!

Ever heard for Warcraft - the most popular strategy ever (and forever), 20+ years old Red Alert is still one of the most popular games in business, Stronghold - probably the most complex strategy, Age of Empires - the best atmosphere ever, Generals - the most dynamic strategy. Legendary pioneers like Settlers, StarCraft, Panzer General don't ring a bell??? Even a crappy Rise of Nations is better than 80% of this list.

I suggest Commandos. Maybe its not a strategy game its a real-time tactics game but this game rocks.

And you definietly play Warcraft3,Red alert series and Stronghold series.

Defiantly try WarCraft 3 the Frozen Throne, it's by far my favorite strategy game ever made and it's pretty cheap considering its been 10 years since it's release.

If you feel the need to see how the game works etc, check out my YouTube Channel (I do WarCraft 3 Commentaries),

If you want a big list, look for SRPG or turn-based strategy games in Wikipedia. My favourites with very close to the same formula as Path of Radiance are:
    - Fire Emblem's on the GBA (and one on the SD, and one on the Wii), of course.
    - Final Fantas Tactics Advance (the initial one and its follow-up, Grim Grimoire). I cannot recommend final Fantasy Tactics because its user interface and slow pace make me cry out loud every time I retry it...
    - Super Robot Wars / Super Robot Taisen series!!! 2 came outise of Japan (i.e. in English), called "Original Generations" 1 & 2 on the GBA. really good stuff!
    - Advance Wars is pretty good too, though the story is usually not as immersive for me as Fire emblem was. And the units are "generic" units that you can produce in series (although it is still a very good game).
    - Zone of the enders, the fist of mars (on the BGA still): has very good humour while being just a little bit lighter on the tactics side (though still a turn-based strategy game alright!)
    - Yggdra Union is very different in terms of game mechanics, but gives me almost the same kick as Fire Emblems.
    - Front Mission rocks too, if you like customizing your robots in a near future setting.
    - Luminous Arc (more in the style of FFTA)

Hey - are you not already going to the shop to get a DS that can play GBA games?
