Xenoblade save file possibly deleted -- eek!
- Aug 4, 2012 6:02 pm GMTHey guys. So, yeah... I'm stressing out a little. As far as I know, I didn't delete my save file or do anything that made me believe I had done anything to compromise my saved data. Stupidly, I only had one save file, too. I know, I know... I'm normally a huge advocate of multiple save files, and here, for some reason, I learnt the hard way what can happen if you don't have more than one. Anyway, I checked my Data Management in the Wii options on the menu and a Xenoblade Chronicles save file is present there. Could it just be my options or something that saved there? Or, is it my save file, and for some reason, its just not showing up in my game once its booted?? Please help. I was really enjoying it (and I was 35 hours in). Thanks.

I'm not sure how to answer your question exactly (if the save is on an SD card I would suggest trying to remove and reinsert the card and see what happens). However it would be possible to track down a save file online around the point in the game you are. You might lose/gain equipment and quests and what not, but you'd be able to continue your story without having to start over completely.

- Aug 4, 2012 9:21 pm GMTHeyyy, thanks for your reply. If worse comes to worse and I can't resolve my problem, I'll get a save file from somewhere else. Hopefully they did every side quest, though, because seeing those exclamation marks will seriously kill me haha. I just find it strange that I can see a save file from Xeno in my Wii menu, but not in the game :/
