    Are there good chances of them later this year? I wouldn't mind a silver or completely black one.

    Well, i saw the red and the blue one on that ad with Penelope Cruz. They looked alright (That is, the 3DS XL, not the actors xD).

    Yeah the colours are better than the promo materials have shown (for whatever reason) especially the hideous gradient boxes. My red box looks pink but the actual XL isn't bad.

    (it's mostly the curved edges that make it look toylike)

    I have the blue XL and it is beautiful. I would describe it as an almost metalic sapphire.
