Great Indie game that has you taking command of a star ship and it crew and guiding it through several maps. You start with only one ship option but, can unlock several more as you play though the game. Game looks simple on the surface but, can become very hectic once you upgrade your ship and add more crew members

FTL graphics are very simple and are similar to SNES games. 90% of the game will involve fighting enemy ships. You will need to strategize on what systems to direct your ships power such as shields or weapons. Determine what type of crew members you want from the various species in the game. As well as determine the best route to reach the last boss.

FTL is considered to be a rogue like game thus every play through will be different. You're only allowed to save the game if you're not in battle. If you die or quit while in a battle your save file will be erase. So there is no going back if you lose a crew member or run out of fuel. The game though short can be quite challenging.

Since the maps change on every play though you'll get a different experience every time you play. Game is definitely worth a try if you enjoy space strategy games.
