Beating Valarr (help please)

Valarr keeps crushing my character Mors even on easy mode and it will not let me use potions someone please give me some hope and a hint please.

Well that explains A LOT! I stupidly chose the "Clumsy" weakness so I was thinking that maybe that was kicking in triple time for some reason but after the second try I noticed no potions were working at all.

I have Mors using his Defense specialization and after the fourth try I paced myself with the Resistance skill and got him down to a 3rd of his life but he was still kicking my Crow butt and after the 6th try I gave up. I was way too frustrated to keep going thinking maybe I screwed up on Mors' build and would have to start all over again.

But now I am thinking maybe he is just bugged? I guess I will keep looking around to see if anyone else is having this issue.

With my Hedge Knight Mors, I just used Pierce and Add Injury to Injury over and over, reusing Pierce as needed to keep bleeding up.

Playing on Knight and using this strategy, I beat him on my first try and I didn't have to use any potions, either, >_>
