Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R

Hey guys, I just wanted to post this for people who hadn't heard about it.

It turns out Guilty Gear isn't dead! Not entirely anyway.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R was announced a little while ago to be heading to arcades everywhere sometime in the future but we can probably expect a console release as well.  While there are no new characters, and no new modes or stages announced as of yet (wait, don't leave yet! It gets better!) a 52 page document (yes, you read that right, 52 PAGES) that showed changes that were made to the entire cast.  These are not aesthetic changes, but rather balance change, movelist changes and some new moves were put in.  Some of the changes are quite small and involve changes in hitboxes and the like (however tournament and competitive players will appreciate these) while other changes are quite drastic (such as Order Sol's Dragon Install: Sakkai being changed from taking 100% of the tension bar to only 50%.)

Unfortunately this document is in Japanese, so non-Japanese readers will have to make do with a work-in-progress translation here

For people wanting the original document in Japanese, it can be found here

Considering this is 2012 and not 2009, I doubt that this game will see a ps2 release (unfortunately, ps2 is the only console I own) but a release for the PS3, Xbox 360 is highly probable (it may be physical copy, or by PSN and Xbox Live.) The Wii and PS Vita versions are also probable, but may not happen (this is just me speaking from experience and what I know about console releases, I may be completely wrong so if you don't agree with me that's perfectly fine.)  I hope that all of you will be looking forward to the release of the new game!  If you are not convinced by that lack of new characters or any announcement of mode or stage changes (although there probably will be a few stage changes, modes I'm not sure of) I still highly recommend you check out the change log for the characters you play, the changes are quite extensive for many characters and may actually change which attacks are useful (Doubling the size of a hitbox for an attack can have much more affect then you might think at first glance.)

Hopefully we can get some discussion going in the comments.  What do you think of this new installment?  Do you think it makes any major steps in the franchise (with the information we have in hand now) or does this just seem to be Arc Systems spitting out more games for the sake of more games?
