I can't find the key for the backyard of hamilton?

I talked to him the bar but i checked the church alter and found nothing

I did talk to him at the bar. I did it again and i think it was cause i didn't ask the questions in order i found the key, thanks for the answer

Check the other side of the altar. Make sure you talked to Hamilton on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday night at the bar.
