Yes,it indicates they are very happy.When they appear like this the next day almost every time you will get an egg rated as "perfect"

It basically just means they are really happy. The thing about perfect eggs isn't actually true. If you notice, every time you let an animal outside, it becomes shiny [though that isn't the only reason] but it's not like you get all perfects everyday.
