- "Worth playing"
For the most part, I like "Infected". It may be a little bit biased- I love this game cos they have the BloodRayne avatar... so, it's kinda like a mini-BloodRayne deal (seeing as how her PSP outing got canned- sad face).
My only problem is the missions- there are three types. 1 is kill everything. 2 is save the civilians (which is a pain), and I don't remember what the 3rd kind is...
Basically, this game is fun if you're just looking for a little zombie shooter that's portable and that you can go through on a weekend.
Honeslty, and I understand this game came out when the PSP was still fresh off the grill, but I can't beleieve Gamespot gave this a better score than "3rd Birthday".
But this is about "Infected", so- if you like pretty linear, mindless Zombie mayhem, you'll love this game. If you don't like BloodRayne, you also have the options to play as one of the many band members from Slipknot (which, to be honest, I didn't realize there were so many), as well as choose from a varied list of other avatars that you unlock (Playboy Bunny type, Aeon Flux type, Foxy Brown type, as well as many others). There are also plenty of weapon upgrades, as well as upgrades that make your officer mor efficient. I've never played co-op (and, really, who has on a PSP recently?), so I can't tell you what that's like, but I DO know it exists.
You'll be able to tell withing 20 minutes if you like the game. If you play and can get based the pretty linear missions, you're gonna have a great time!
