I want to play this again but without a difficulty patch it will put me to sleep again. I tried Divinity II but it is ****ing awful. I think Sacred 2 was actually better (scary I know). I like these Diablo/Dragon Age type games, anyone have any recommendations? I see Dungeon Siege III is getting super cheap...

I agree this game definitely needs a patch. Or ten. It could certainly use a difficulty bump and a proper level scaling mechanic.
As for recommendations, you should try Arcania: Gothic 4. And Arkadian Warriors, Torchlight and Crimson Alliance on Xbox arcade.

I check in for patch news every couple days. The fact that this board has died makes it a lot easier than it used to be.

If you like the DA:O style of combat, and what looks to be a rather deep rpg experience for a licensed title, the check out Game of Thrones. It comes out tomorrow. There is a 30 minute video on YouTube that previews it. It looks alot better than I had imagined it would. You should check it out.

Sadly, GoT looks to suck so I'm gonna get Witcher.
Ironically, 38 Studios might be in big trouble with Rhode Island. Serves them right for ignoring their fans.

38 Studios is defaulting on a 48 million dollar loan from the state of Rhode Island. Don't hold your breath waiting for patches. That company is going under. Was an incredibly idiotic decision to think their first venture could be an MMORPG. Should have started small with KOA Reckoning, see if people actually give a damn about the world and then expand it.

Rent Witcher because it's an extremely short experience. Similarly, rent Dungeon Siege III. It's fun, but excruciatingly short.
Dragon's Dogma comes out this month and it looks pretty sweet. But, you know, I'm going to rent first
