Looking to throw together a Chakram. I have my Blacksmithing and Sagecrafting maxed. Here's the criteria I want:

    - Lightning/Shocking damage
    - Ice/Freezing damage
    - Life leech
    - remaining spots used for increased critical chance, if possible

But I'm not sure that I can get the first three of the same Chakram. Chakrams can only use Utility gems, so I can't get my elemental damage or life leech there.

I can get one element from the disc itself, and then a second from the next piece. But the second piece is the only place I know of to get the life leech. Anybody more experienced with crafting know a way to put this together, or is it impossible?

Yes, I believe you can get all of those on there once you reach a certain point.

Life Leech is the only one I'm unsure of, and I'm still fairly certain you can get it with the right parts.

you can't get two elements and a life leech because as you mentioned, chakrams get a utility gem.

    - 1 element from the base disc
    - element or life leech from handle (i don't think life leech works on ranged weapons?)
    - crits from bindings and support?
    - utility gem has crit i think

Does it have to be life leach? I'd put a health regen gem and get a damage over time part to equal life leach.

I built a Mastercrafted Plasmere Chakram with the first two, plus bleeding crit and health regen. It had 199 base damage.

Hmm. I've considered Health Regen- I know I can get that on my Utility Gem- but +2 HP/sec just isn't as effective as Life Leech, especially since Chakrams can hit so many enemies at once.

The idea was that these Chakrams would be a support weapon- designed to slow (Freezing) and stagger (Shocking) groups of enemies while keeping my health up (Leeching), until I had a window to go hard after a single target with my fast, Bleeding/Poison damage, high crit rate Daggers.

Looks like I'll probably have to choose between two elements or the life leech. I might try the health regen in the utility slot, but I doubt it'll fill the niche I'm looking for.

element or life leech from handle (i don't think life leech works on ranged weapons?)

I think that's exclusively Bows (and maybe Scepters, if you can even get it onto them?). I can verify that leech does work on Chakrams, though, I have it on a set I'm using right now.

There's a unique sceptre with the life and mana leech effect built in. If it doesn't work, then the programmers just played a cruel joke.
